Cemwall Systems – Panel Order & Customer Policy
This policy outlines the official procedures for placing, processing, fabricating, and managing customer orders for Cemwall Systems panel products. These policies reflect our standards for responsible order management, transparency, and protection of manufacturing integrity. All customers placing orders with Cemwall Systems agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Deposit Requirement
All panel orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of order placement. This deposit secures raw materials, labor, and shop time in our fabrication queue. Due to the time-sensitive nature of our operations and the allocation of limited manufacturing capacity, no order will enter the production phase without this deposit being received and confirmed.
In cases of project scheduling changes or unforeseen customer delays, the deposit may be held for up to 90 days and applied to a future rescheduled order, pending written approval from Cemwall Systems.
2. Panel Categories
Standard Panels
Standard Cemwall panels include:
- Dimensions: 4' x 8'
- Thickness options: 4", 6", or 8"
Standard panels are typically stocked and may be produced in small batches. These panels are eligible for a 25% restocking fee if returned within 30 days of fabrication and only if they are in unused, original condition. Customers are responsible for coordinating and covering all return shipping costs. Cemwall reserves the right to inspect panels before authorizing any refund.
Custom Panels
Custom panels are defined as any panel outside of the standard dimensions or those that require site-specific modifications, electrical or plumbing penetrations, or alignment with pre-approved architectural designs. These panels are manufactured on a made-to-order basis, and as such, are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
Because each custom panel involves engineering resources, special formwork, and coordinated production steps, customers are advised to confirm all measurements and specifications before final approval.
3. Order Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing and are only effective upon written confirmation from Cemwall Systems.
- Orders canceled prior to the start of fabrication may be eligible for a partial refund, depending on whether materials have been purchased or work has commenced.
- No cancellations will be accepted after production begins, and the customer is liable for the full cost of the order.
- Custom panel orders are non-refundable regardless of the production status or pickup arrangements.
4. Order Fulfillment & Pickup Requirements
- Upon completion, customers will be provided a notice and offered a 30-day window to pick up or arrange delivery of their panels.
- Orders left beyond 30 days without written communication or agreement may be subject to daily storage fees or may be deemed abandoned, at which point Cemwall Systems may dispose of the materials or reallocate them without further notice. Deposits in such cases will be forfeited.
- We strongly recommend scheduling pickup or shipment at the time of order placement to avoid unnecessary delays.
5. Manufacturing Standards & Product Integrity
Cemwall panels are built to exacting standards using:
- A 1/4" fiber cement board exterior skin on both faces
- Internal steel reinforcement with our patented Rebar and Cup System for anchoring
- A dense concrete core that complies with ICC-500 and FEMA 320 impact resistance
- Fire- and moisture-resistant components tested to ASTM E84 and C1185 compliance
Panels may be used as structural walls, retaining systems, or impact-resistant barriers in both residential and commercial construction. We adhere to rigorous internal quality assurance protocols and conduct routine inspections throughout the fabrication process.
Each order is produced by highly trained craftsmen at our facility in Alexander City, Alabama.
6. Shipping & Delivery Terms
While Cemwall Systems does not provide in-house delivery services, we coordinate closely with certified freight companies for timely and secure shipment. All shipping costs and risks of loss during transit are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated in writing.
All shipments must be inspected upon delivery. Any visible damage must be noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery and reported to Cemwall within 24 hours for possible claim assistance.
7. Policy Acknowledgment
By placing an order with Cemwall Systems, the customer confirms they have reviewed and accepted these terms. All sales are governed by this Order Policy unless otherwise stated in a separate, written agreement signed by an authorized representative of Cemwall.
Policy revisions may be issued periodically and will be made available at www.CemwallSystems.com. It is the responsibility of each customer to remain informed of current terms.
